Happy New Year!!!

Progress Reports

Progress Reports will be given out on Friday March 4, 2011. Please make sure you received your child's progress reports and continue to monitor his/her grades using AtSchool.

Attendance Days

We have noticed that many students are being picked up early at the end of the day.  If students do not have a legitimate appointment, the absence is not excused and the work that is given during those days are not excused either.  Vacation days that are not recognized on the school calendar are also not excused.  Please be aware that the only excuses are doctor's appointments, funerals, and hospitalizations.  If students are absent for reasons other than the abovementioned, then parents must speak with administration if the parents believe that the absence is for a legitimate excusable reason.

7th Grade Announcements

Each teacher will give a short presentation and you will be able to ask questions that can help your child.  We have decided that we will meet the second week of December.  Your chld will receive the notice the week when we return.

Welcome Middle School Allstars,

We would like to welcome all of you to a new school year.  This summer we have worked together to create a valuable educational experience for you.  We invite you, on the first days of school, to browse the pages of all of the middle school teachers even if you are not in their classes.  There have been some changes to the middle school and we would like for you to know all of the teachers.  Make sure you review these pages daily in order to know what assignments you have due for your classes.  Lastly, you will find policies and procedures for the middle school below.  Please review them on a regular basis (weekly) as there could be additions/changes throughout the school year.

Sincerely,

The Middle School Team
