Ms. Hanna's 8th Grade Language Arts

WELCOME 8TH GRADERS!

My name is Ms. Hanna, and I will be teaching eighth grade reading and language arts this year.  I had the pleasure of working with many of you last year in seventh grade, and I am excited to start a brand new year and continue where we left off!

For those of you who do not know me, I have previously taught in Dearborn Public School, as well as overseas in Egypt. This will be my second year at D.P.A.  I  graduated with Bachelor’s Degrees in Education with a major in English, and a minor in political science from Wayne State University.  My goal is to begin working towards my masters degree within the next year. 

As some of you already know, traveling is my passion.  Because of my national heritage, I freguently visit Egypt. Although I was not able to visit Egypt this past summer, I was able to visit Miami, Boston, New York, and Jamaica.
